ABOUT Shameshan

Shameshan S Mani Maran the Founder of SHAMESHAN WAVEBOX, is a music composer, predominantly working in Indian cinema. His first song as music director was Kaneeril Oor Kavithai in 2008. Since then, he has been composing music for films and series. He was the National Winner in Asian Academy Creative Awards 2022 and he has also won Cinefest’19
Best Music Director Award and PAAIM Johor 2019 Best Music Director Award and has been nominated in Malaysia Film Festival for Best Background Music Score (Top 5 in Malaysia). He has worked with many talented international musicians.

We produce music for movies, feature films, television commercials, web series and independent albums. We have the best team packed with music producers and sound engineers.

Director

Preeta S Mani Maran, the Director of SHAMESHAN WAVEBOX always gives great moral support to ensure all music-related work flows well. Preeta is the backbone of WaveBox, always rooting for her team, from behind the scenes watching her brainchild grow into the world of musical entertainment.

The team is predominantly making our mark in the Malaysian Indian Cinema and are exploring opportunities for creating many more amazing numbers in the years to come. We have produced music for movies, feature films, TV commercials, web series and independent albums with the help of our creatively-inclined sound engineers.

Journey

One of early Malaysian prodigies, singer and musician Shameshan Mani Maran started a small band called Double E Production with his fellow schoolmates. Conducting stage dramas to eventually becoming a music director who scored amazing live BGM for the stage plays, Shameshan Mani Maran later joined Navna studio as a crew to learn sound engineering and composition. Their hit tracks like Yethetho (with Dhilip Varman & Rabbit Mac) and Azhagaaneh JB Ponnu (with Rabbit Mac) topped the local songs chart for months back in 2010. Their first album, WHEN SHAMESHAN MEETS SP was released in 2011, featuring many local talents and celebrities.
